Day 1 Eton Dorney

Had a great day out today at Eton Dorney despite having to queue at the collection point for far too long. The weather was fantastic and better than the forecast suggested. Also the light and clouds were brilliant. This is the Lightweight Mens Fours - Heat 2. which was won by 1. Britain Peter Chambers/Robert Williams/Richard Chambers/Chris Bartley 5 minutes 49.29 seconds. One of the however highlights was watching Argentina and GBR in a later heat. Lots of excitement in the crowd and all competitors well supported. No detachable lens cameras allowed at Wembley tomorrow which is annoying but will try my best. Beer, curry and olympic TV planned for this evening followed by a long sleep.
