Weathered wood and a weed

G decided that a walk to Burgoyne Bay would be a nice way to celebrate Father's Day.  There's always something that catches my eye by the old barn, and today it was the dandelion framed in the shadows and the jagged edges of the very weathered and deteriorating wood siding.
Extras:  When we came home, old White Face was chilling a few feet from the stairs to the basement.  I took one from the porch then went around the house for another view.  I noticed that she has quite a bad sore on her leg.  She often hangs around our place, and we've noticed that she's aging and spends a fair amount of time lying down, sometimes in strange places.  The other day she was lying on top of a pile of dirt that was probably warmed by the sun.
