Sandpiper

I have a new toy tax-deductible essential work item.  On the way back from collecting it, I had a bit of a stroll along the lake shore on a wet, blustery afternoon and pointed it at this chappy, foraging among the pebbles.

I think he's a common sandpiper, but I'm rubbish at shore birds like this.  Still, at least I have a photo I can examine later.
