Opening night 8 months later than scheduled

We finally, finally managed to get the house in a rough state where we wanted to invite friends round to see the 'nearly' finished result. There are some unfinished items, multiple projects but I have to say Madame has worked extremely hard to get the house looking beautiful.

Was very nice also to see friends who we haven't seen for a long time and the higlight must have been when the #1son came in and cranked up the techno to ear splitting levels. Eldest sister and our neighbour were standing sniggering out in the hall having sent the wee man to do their bidding.
