Water Flower

I decided to experiment today with water and lighting and hopefully also capture something that can qualify for the Weekend Blip Challenge monthly theme of Macro or Close Up. I popped on my 100mm macro lens and filled a bowl of water then started trying to create by dipping the flower into the water at speed and capturing the movement of the water.

I'm quite pleased with how this flower trails out the tentacles as it enters the water and the depth of field gives it a real sense of depth. Hope you enjoy too.
