An interesting day......

Had a lovely walk in Finlandrigg woods this morning with PaulaJ, we did lots of chatting and catching up.   Its a good time to visit the woods now as there are lots of orchids, the common spotted and the northern marsh ones.  Afterwards I took her to Rob Lonning at the back of the woods which not a lot of people know about and I only discovered it by accident.  There were some lovely wildflowers in the loning including the Comfrey which is today's blip.  

The rain arrived exactly when they said it would and hasn't stopped since :)
