Boys and their toys.

Well, there was a woman in one of the teams. We went along with a friend to the International Model Powerboat Regatta in Schrems.
Who would have thought that the little lake in the forest in the middle of nowhere near us would be hosting an international event? It has been quite a few years since it was held here so we hadn't seen it before. It was a gorgeous day and such a picturesque venue. It was quite fun apart from the fumes and noise disturbing the peaceful environment. The photo shows the start of the 3.5cc class i liked the patterns in the mirror like surface of the lake. On the way home we picked some more Elderflowers to make cordial as the bushes were laden and the Elderflower cordial I made last week was delicious. 
This evening we went to a Fest in the next village with some other friends. The usual thunderstorm arrived just before we left so we had to drive the 2 minutes to the fest. They were serving Fleischknödel tonight which are potato dumplings filled with mince meat and served with sauerkraut. Delicious.
