Fathers Day.

What a great morning! The family arrived bearing good wishes cards and gifts, including some wonderful artwork by the younger members of the Clan.
The steam engine above, by Euan, is really a pretty accurate rendition of Great Northern Railways No 1, a single eight foot drivered express engine designed by Patrick Stirling.
This afternoon saw MaggieD and I up at Maggie's Mum's house to meet up with her cousins. More great chat.
Home now and it is simply persisting down so we probably not going to venture too far this evening!
