Clemont-Ferrand
Tread carefully. Another day another hotel... And who knew tyres could be so fascinating?! Clemont-Ferrand is the home to Michelin, and the museum at the factory is well worth a visit. It took a good half of an overcast day, and was fun and very interesting. The Michelin family seem to have had the same social conscience that birthed so many great names in industry and trading.
The afternoon was yet another cathedral, and again photos will appear on Flickr when we get home. That's not for a while yet though. Tomorrow, if it's not too nasty out there, and if we're not too tyred... we will venture up the Puy de Dome, a 1465m high volcano, happily, probably, quiescent.
