Shute Barton
Today we have been to visit the house above. This house is only a few miles from where we live and is recognised as one of the most important surviving , non fortified, manor houses of the Middle Ages. The earliest surviving part of the house was built was build in the mid-15th by wealthy landowners, the Bonville family Now owned by the National Trust. In the 44 years we have lives here we have never been able to see inside because it is only open for six days a year.
The rest of the time runs it as a holiday cottage (Sleeps 10)
