Bankside

Fab day in London meetig up with an old university friend.

First stop was the British Librry for an exhibition marking the Shakespeare 400 anniversary. Shakespeare in Ten Acts - looking at ten different performances charting the history of how the plays have been performed, and how they have become so influential and admired throughout the world.

Then a short wander along the river at Bankside - seemed appropriate to go and take a look at The Globe! Also saw the hoardes of people at the Tate Modern for the opening of the new wing. Decided not to brave those crowds, though!
