Duncarron Fort-- In the Stocks!

The Clanranald Trust is building a replica Medieval Fort and Village on a site near the Carron Valley Reservoir. The project is very much a work in progress but today's open day was a fun event. There were crafts on display, various activities such as archery and axe throwing (yes , axe throwing) and musical entertainment. The village stocks had also been set up and this unfortunate fellow was being pelted with wet sponges.
Who needs the Olympics? Mind you wasn't that opening ceremony something else--especially the lighting of the cauldron --magnificent.
