Japanese?

We had thought of going to the Olympic Road Race today as it passed by only two miles from us, but we watched it at home instead. We missed the atmosphere (and the whooping spectators) but we saw a lot more of the race and it was fun to see the cyclists negotiating the roads that we know so well. They went very much faster along them than we can! Shame Team GB didn't win. Cycling tactics are so complicated!

After it was over it was out to the garden where I found these anemones. I've always called them Japanese Anemones but my RHS gardening book calls them Anemone Tomentosa. (Since joining blipfoto I keep the gardening book beside the computer!)
