Evil under the sun

You can always trust Agatha to come up with a good tag line.  Not that it was sunny today, but it was good gardening weather.

These are roots of soursobs (oxalis) and couch grass, and I've spent the last two afternoons trying to dig them out of a patch.

When you are actually doing the digging the patch seems enormous, but when you've finished and you turn around to have a look you realise just how little you've done.
