Flüeli-Ranft

The early morning view from the hotel room, with a view towards one of the churches in Sachseln and the Lake of Sarnen. It is one of the powerful places in Switzerland, being a pilgrimage place to see where Brother Klaus (Nicholas of Flüe) lived and shared his wisdom with the world in the 15th century.

The Paxmontana hotel was built 1896 in art nouveau style, then totally refurbished 2011 and a beautiful reminder of that period. No TVs in the rooms - but really no need with these views.

Yesterday's murder mystery was solved after breakfast. It was Roberto and therefore my guess totally wrong ...
