Surprise!

A bit of a shock on this morning's run to find two fire engines and the mountain rescue body wagon at the top of Winter Hill. Luckily nothing amiss, just a training exercise. A big turn out for the annual running of our informal event Coope's Dozen, covering twelve summits over 17 miles on our local Pennine hills.
