Sparrow
A wet Sunday, yay!! Gotta love them.
Made a Apple & Feijoa cake this morning which is yum! Just out of the oven when the power went of for an hour or so, so we cooked our soup on the BBQ, easy.
Using the BBq reminded of the time just 10 years ago last week since we had the horrendous snow storm, right to the coast - we were without power for 10 days and we managed. Telephone was even longer (didn't miss it at all). We took all our frozen foods out of the freezer, and put them out on the lawn and covered with heaps of snow, (there was no shortage of the stuff) but did have to biff some of it. It was a horrendous time for many many rural families, their stock & the birds. Even "the townies" got behind them and went out snow racking to find stock and make tracks down to paddocks where they fed out hay and grain for weeks. The snow went right down to the waves of the Pacific Ocean. A book was published, one of my images was selected of a Ute towing snowboarders along our road, who would have thought that!!? Anyrate I digress, enough of that.
My blip is a male sparrow, taken through the double glazed window. He's not crisp sharp, but will do.
