Wilderness Oxford

OK, not really wilderness, but it's hard to quibble with the "Where tranquility and wildlife reign" line on the RSPB Otmoor leaflet.

Spent a lovely long afternoon wandering at Otmoor - not many people, but lots of bird life from terns and goldeneye, to heron and egret via reed buntings and miscellaneous warblers. And turtle doves!  

And a few hares to keep them company.
