So long, and thanks for all the seed!

Of course, I took bird food to Suffolk for the garden birds. Our main customers were a pair of Blackbirds who had a nest in the hedge, and worked hard the whole fortnight, collecting food. We had wondered if the young might and fledge while we were there and Mr PB saw one just before we left. Our other main customer was this handsome Chaffinch who would appear in the bushes when we were sitting outdoors, and cheep at us until I put some food down.  
Our journey home was uneventful - very light traffic, and so we made good time. We've had another brilliant trip to Suffolk, and I was sad to leave, but plenty in the pipeline for the coming weeks.
