More food

Village Day and it didn't rain! However, heavy rain overnight meant the field was quite muddy and some cars got stuck.
The theme of the day was the Beatrix Potter Centenary and our stall was dressed as Mrs Tiggywinkle's Laundry. We sold cakes, not laundry, and as usual the cakes were sold out quickly. The stall looked lovely, with a washing line of dolls' clothes, flat irons, hedgehogs and an airer with lacy linen on it. The helpers wore big white aprons and mob caps, just like Mrs Tiggywinkle.
We didn't win the best dressed stall. That honour went deservedly to one of the new WIs in the village.
