Lucky!

Grrrrrr this is the 3rd time I write this... Something keeps going wrong when I try to publish!

I was very lucky today!

I had some housework I had to do today and I needed to go shopping, but I also wanted to do something nice with the dogs. The weeks are busy with work and stuff that does not always involve the dogs, so the weekends are their time and my mum's sheltie Bridie is here for a couple of days too, so I want to give her a really good time.

I had planned to get all the boring stuff out of the way first and then have the rest of the day to play and have fun with the dogs, but then Helle (my friend) texted and asked if I wanted to come for a phone walk. We live too far from each other to meet up just to walk dogs, so we put on our headsets, ring each other and talk whilst we walk.

- So I took the dogs for a lovely walk whilst I talked to Helle. It was wonderful and sunny and so so so hot, so when I came home, I put the dogs in the car and we drove to the lake.

We spent the next 1½ hours swimming and playing with the Easy Glider Frisbee Hero got for his Birthday. It was fabulous!

And at 2 pm, when I was home, had had lunch and was ready to start on the housework, it started raining and there was thunder and lightning!

How lucky was I?! If Helle hadn't texted, I would probably have done all the cleaning and stuff in the morning whilst the weather was nice and then I would have had to walk dogs and play with them in the rain!
