Raft Race

Had a great time at the Canal Festival today. No one fell in, we managed to paddle the whole way to the canal basin (they kept the Leamington Lift bridge open for us!) and had lots of folk waving, taking pictures and asking us about the coracles.
The festival was hooching with lots of different stuff going on, from canoeing to pony rides, from falconry to fencing lessons. We had a fabulous smorgasbord lunch then wandered back to watch one of the raft races. The Pirates were in trouble from the start but gave us a great laugh. Pretty darned good all round.
