Local Children's Gala started with procession down the village to the park - led by The New Orleans Jazz Band

A grand afternoon out - nothing commercial - all the stalls manned by volunteers - pocket money prices charged - the coconut shy even ran out of coconuts

Well attended - and organised - think the organisers should be banging the drum - blowing their own trumpet - and be pleased it didn't rain on their parade
