Common Spotted orchid

- or, Dactylorhiza fuchsii.

There are only two of these beautiful orchids on my walk and they light up a little corner of the wood with their bright faces. I was trying to take a good shot of them the other day when the dogs diverted me with their hedgehog find, so I vowed to return before the blooms had faded.
