In fact, after this ominous wobble at the start, Sheenies Hens went on to complete the Village Raft Race this afternoon although at one point we feared they were heading out to sea!

Crowds stood along the jetty and the shore as the teams raced off in their crazy craft, armed with eggs and water balloons.

Fantastic Fun and great to see our village so full of happy folk!
