Who has gnawed through our compost barrel?

We just keep adding to it, but have not taken out any compost for years now.  But some animal seems to want our delicious compost.  Must be a large  rat, or mongoose.

Today's my first shift at the annual library sale, so my postings and comments are likely to be erratic - sorry.  Sale ends June 26th.
