Feeling a Bit Chilli

Seaton Delaval Chilli Fest - started out badly, a couple of fields couldn't be used for parking given the wet weather, and the roads around were absolutely stowed out. We ended up parked at Seaton Sluice, then it was clear that the event was perhaps too small for an unexpectedly large number of people.

By the time Adam, Sam and Phoebe turned up, though, it was starting to ease off and you could finally get to the stalls to taste some wares. And good stuff it was too.

Retiring after to Sam's house to watch the end of the Tour's first mountain stage, then off out for dinner at Six at the Baltic (some good points, some bad) with Sam, Joss and Adam. Turned into a pretty good day in the end.
