Tetrapod and soozaday

Our morning walk was on the harbor side of the river. The breakwater leading to the Walton Lighthouse uses tetrapods as a breakwater. The tetrapod is a tetrahedral concrete structure that dissipates the force of incoming waves by allowing water to flow around rather than against it.
