Great British dinner for two

Back blipped from tues

Jacob and Millie and some of their friends did a day's cookery course.

I was amazed at how much they learnt and did for themselves. They came home with leek and potato soup, roast beef dinner, (complete with yorkshire puds, roast potatoes and veg) and an apple crumble pie - with pastry .They had made everything themselves - Not bad going for a 7 and 10 year old.

Apparently no mistakes made. The younger ones were not supposed to use the sharp knives to cut the veg up but apparently when the teacher wasn't looking Mills did hers anyway ! oh and jacob had to redo his carrots as he had put them on to boil in sunflower oil - apparently the teacher said liquid so he assumed the closest to hand !! ( but we'll gloss over that !)
