Fix it Friday....

Another wet day so went to spread some slurry down the road on the field I shifted the blks out last night. What should have been a 40 minute round trip turned out a bit longer when the throttle cable snapped on the tractor in the middle of Gorebridge. Eventually managed to tie the throttle full open with a bit of baler twine and limp home.
A 60 mile round trip to Carnwath to get a new cable, then a lot of faffing about tonight to fit it. Cab mat and floor panel out, step and battery box off, tool box holder and exhaust guards off , lots of skinned knuckles and sweary words , but got there eventually. Then the fun of putting everything back without any bits left over at the end.
Maybe get on better tomorrow ( or maybe not ? )
