Stretch

When you are almost three months old, it is time to stretch out and explore the world a little further ..

Maybe prompted by a Torran visit, I have been reminded recently about a finding from some research which suggested that each generation thought they were better off than the previous one but thought the next generation would have a tougher time.

Everyone around has been affected by the death of Jo Cox MP, a rising star of the next generation of politicians.  Someone just doing the best she could and someone who was making a difference.  Someone, like many of us, a parent just trying to make the world a better place for the next generation.

The gates of the road to despair have been opening up for some time.  It got a shove yesterday.  Time to rediscover 'the audacity of hope'.
