Dirty Dancing

Ended my busy day in Manchester. Haircut.

En route I called in to see the free photographic exhibition at the old Granada Studios - largely because it was an opportunity to have another look at the old studios. They are kind of weird inside, now they are redundant.

The exhibition runs till Monday, and is called "The Other Side of Midnight". It's a celebration of people getting lost in the music, from the 1980's onwards. Lots of images of dancing, dressing up, people having a wild time, a bit of debauchery and otherness, and celeb's a plenty, especially the Stone Roses for some reason (maybe Ian Brown and the rest liked having their pics taken).

Not my scene (I've usually asleep this side of midnight), but interesting nonetheless.
