Strange picture

After a really good day yesterday and a really productive day in the office, that's when the trouble started.
First we had trouble getting to the airport due to the traffic, but we managed to get to the gate on time for boarding only to find that our stand was still occupied by the outgoing plane and ours hadn't even landed. This then put us in the horrible position of thinking that we may not make our connection and would have to spend a night in a Frankfurt airport hotel. But as luck had it, almost every other flight from FRA was delayed due to more thunderstorms. So I arrived to find that my flight was only delayed 15 minutes but we have just been told that we need to wait for crew from another flight to land! Hopefully they will extend the allowed time for flights going out of here, otherwise I might be here overnight yet :(((
Anyway, this is the only photo of a picture I have taken today which I thought was quite cool but a bit strange so it will have to do for today's blip. I have no energy to walk about this airport looking for anything else. If I do manage to get home tonight it will be well after midnight - which is no fun at all.
Who said travelling for work was glamorous? Think again....
