Brixworth Country Park

Wooden carvings at this beautiful country park in Northamptonshire with the following poem:

Calm weather for the calm souls
But the light that comes
Through the whirling trees
When the wind is high
Stirs the blood of the wild creatures
Who dance to the rhythm
And sing with the singing leaves


It is also close by to Pitsford Reservoir, with a circular walk of 7 miles, never walked it but have cycled the route many times.
