Magic carpets !

On the last leg of clearing my late mum in law's flat out. So lifted all the carpets as the housing association require ! Perfectly good carpets but because there not beige no use so to the tip they go.
After nearly three weeks tried to give away most of the furnishings but people came and looked but said because it was 2nd floor did not want the hassle. Even certain charity did not have the courtesy to call back about uplift for charity !!!!
Good old British Heart Foundation came to the rescue and most was taken but they do get choosy.
Now the association want the place painted, they have had rent for 27 years and we painted it when E moved in and since I am putting my foot down. It's got to be beige !!!!
After the trauma of a bereavement this is not what you need.
