village park
milady often treats me to lunch in Birkmyre park pavilion (homely but classy) ...describes her perfectly!!
after paying the bill nothing better than a stroll in this lovely well maintained village public park with views to the surrounding hills
Kilmacolm came of age in the Victorian and Edwardian era when the new railway encouraged wealthy commuters to build their villas there
this blip shows one of the mostly understated buildings built 1904 after the park and other park buildings, a very nice afterthought methinks, only in this village would a 'shelter' be so grandly built and maintained
