Overpass Guard Grit

To cut an embarassing story short, there is this elaborate overpass guard which looks more like a work of art than anything else. I had mounted my Sigma 10-20 in an attempt to get some interesting distorted geometry.

Anyway I have these three DSLRs right? I picked up the wrong bag and arrived with entirely the wrong lens. If that were not enough I had been downloading stuff and had left the SD card in the computer. Sometimes I think I need to be led around by some nice patient carer who has special sympathy for bewildered old dodderers. The story gets worse so far as forgetfulness is concerned but I refuse to embarrass myself any further for now. Let's just say an SD card WAS eventually unearthed from some forgotten recess, thankfully.

Anyway the mission was to come back with some sort of arty thingy which I did have a go at doing. They are booking me into a glue factory next Tuesday ... or is it Wednesday?
