A lovely winter afternoon

Another brilliant afternoon today, so I took Al, our Border Collie down to the river for a bit of throw and fetch the stick in the Matakitaki River.

This picture was taken looking south up the river. You can see Mt Cann in the very distance. I loved the lovely blue sky, and the blue water - just magnificent.

My oldest son C went kayaking down this river this afternoon - he had great fun in the 3 hours that he was away. We are so lucky to have such wonderful resources at our doorstep.
