Poppy

The poppies are out, and Mrs G's have come out to say hello. I fully expect to tog a field of them at some point, but for today this is the entrée.

Typically we associate these with remembrance and commemoration of our fallen soldiers, but I think it might be apt to give a nod to MP Jo Cox, by all accounts a good egg, who was taken so brutally today. Another victim of an endemic hatred that seems to be the prevailing theme of the last few months.

I hate sounding so cynical, but it really feels like the modern world is in a process of regression.
