Last Day

Sadly, out last day. Up earlyish, a swim, our last fantastic Samoan breakfast. Fresh fruit and banana balls of course.

Lots of goodbyes, then into the van with Joseph and a 1.5 hour trip to the airport. Sunday so all the families were off to church, dressed in the best whites and literally streaming along the narrow country roads on foot into/out of the churches. Just a few hours later we were back in Auckland, in the rain, cold, and with lots of cars. What a contrast.

Uneventful flight, rented a car, Auckland for the night, staying with Hils Dad. Lovely meal and wine, then an early night. Up early for the return trip to Christchurch.
