Please Pass On the Peas

Not peas but thift in my garden.  I love the shapes and textures of this plant as well as the deep pink colour of the flowers.  Andy was down visiting his Mum today but we popped out for a walk after dinner and stopped off at the allotment to check on progress.  My peas are just coming into flower - we were concerned they weren't going to as Andy had given them to me several years ago in my Christmas stocking!  They are from pea plants he grew in his own garden and those were grown from peas given to him by a friend.  The friend was in turn given the peas by a friend in Sweden!
