Growing beside the fence

A very damp day but not wet enough to keep me from giving my viburnum a bit of a hair cut.  L came over to hold the ladder while I wielded the secateurs and loppers ..... a good job done and the tree looks much tidier.

The poppy is in my garden, the ceaothus, tumbling over the fence, is in my neighbour's garden.  Both are close to the viburnum so I had to watch where I planted the ladder.
