Waiting Patiently

.............for mum to find some lunch :-)

Three little Moorhen chicks in the village brook and an extra of mum taking a well earned bath when the babies were fed :-)
They seem to be regular visitors to the local brook now, which is lovely, and this appears to be the second brood they have raised this year as they also had two much larger juveniles in tow that I featured here   a month ago :-))

Sorry, I'm starting to get behind again, I will try and catch up very soon :-/
