A night off Wagner, but a visit to FACT to see a Columbian film "Embrace of the Serpent", a powerful and at times very disturbing tale of change and colonialism told through the eyes of a last remaining warrior-shaman who guides two white explorers on expeditions through the Amazon which are separated by a period of 40 years.
