Manchester walk

Considering that I go to Manchester several times a year it's a city I fail to make a real connection with. Largely I think because I know it in separate bits and don't really understand how they fit together. Here I made a bit of progress by walking from the Midland to the University where I had a meeting. I discover it's straight down Oxford Street and Oxford Road. So two of the bits now make sense in relation to each other.
This is the library in Peters Square opposite the hotel.
I bumped into a former colleague and walked the last third of the way with him which was nice.
