FROM THE LONG WALK:

This day is one out of the box for sure. A summers day in winter ! Azure blue sky, not a cloud in sight, nor a breath of wind - absolute perfection. I went round the Long Walk this afternoon, albeit, cheating on the John Deere. I haven't been up there for ages, having endured for two weeks the excruciating agonies of an ulcer on my foot. The district nurse comes twice a week to dress it & my Doctor tells me it will be a month before it heals. Such charming news.
