Green Fingers?

It may be slightly late, but at last the hanging baskets are planted and in place.  Now we wait patiently for them to burst into flower.
The last couple of days of rain hasn’t helped, but at least they have been given a good soaking. And judging by the geraniums we have accompanying the petunias, it needs only a couple of warm days of sunshine to encourage growth.
The geraniums have come on leaps and bounds since being planted out in decorative garden pots, so we look forward to seeing the same pattern of growth with the baskets.

But then, I don’t pretend to be green fingered.  Still, I will keep those same fingers crossed in anticipation of abundant floral colour in the days and weeks ahead!
