Feeding time

My WI is forty-six years old and tonight we had our birthday meeting. It is tradition that everybody brings a plate of finger food, and as about eighty people attend there is a huge spread. It is interesting to see what an amazing variety of dishes appear. When it was time to eat I climbed onto the stage to get a photo of everybody filling their plates. They reminded me of a flock of hens at a feeding trough but don't tell them I said that!
It was a happy meeting with a very amusing speaker who talked about plant names.
I've had a busy day of housework and cooking. It is amazing how motivated I am when there are visitors coming at the weekend.
