BlipaEwan 99...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Ewan has a bit of hang up when it comes to playing rugby outwit the standard Sunday morning practice sessions.  He doesn’t like it when we invite other clubs or when we are playing away.  I tried a rouse when we were due at Glenrothes earlier in the month.  Just didn’t tell him until we were in the car.  Didn’t work very well and had to resign to just letting him play what he wanted.  We stayed and he played in a bit of a game after mucking about with some of the players from Waid rugby club.  He says that if he knows about it he’d be more inclined to participate, so that and the letting him play only the games he wants to play should hopefully pull him out of it.

He’s been getting right into animation of late.  We use an app on the tablet to do stop frame animation and he uses his lego characters.  Mostly they end up very jaunty movements with things just magically moving and appearing or disappearing but he’s been getting a bit of the just of the tiny movements required to make real animations.

The last couple of days, he’s been complaining of a sore eye.  Not entirely sure what it’s about but I got him some optrex to help sooth it.  I suspect it’s not that much of an issue but he is giving the optrex a go.
