Wide Angle Wednesday : Numbers

Numbers, plenty of 'em. And that's the theme for WidWed32.

1 : 200,000, 1cm = 2 km, 75 plans, 50 Balades (whatever they are), oh, and 2007. 2007 wasn't so long ago was it? I mean, how many roads can they build in, um, nine years...? Ah. Well ok, it's just as well then that I've got two sat nav in the Audi (one even has a new map on it).

I remember the days before sat nav. Trying to drive across country, in the dark, in the rain, listening on the mobile to someone shouting directions, holding the steering wheel in one hand and the A-Z in the other as some quite angry folk sounded their horns at me - which was a total distraction, I can tell you! Oh, thank you orbiting marvels!

You might gather blips for the next few weeks may be intermittent. I'll be blipping iPhone when I can, back blipping when I get back. One a day, they said... that's a numbers game isn't it.

It's interesting to ponder that we will enter France as Europeans... if the joke goes badly we may leave as self-inflicted Pariahs. Yes, I voted.
